According to Angie's list the average price of a new garage door opener with installation is $300-500. Mine was $699. Unfortunately, my internet was down or I would have been able to figure out I could have replaced the same brand I had for half of the price. The opener I ended up with is Precision's own brand of which I can find no reviews at all. Despite costing much more it does not have the dual lights or motion sensor my old one had.

This was by far the worst attempt by a salesman to get us to purchase a garage door repair that entalied replacing all the components. Knowing we wanted to get a new door that comes with all new components. And we had a car trapped. According the salesman he could not fix the door without replacing all the parts. Even though we agreed we would purchase a door. He stated we would have to wait until next Tuesday for the new door install before the car could get out.

It's not everyday something goes wrong with your garage door or garage door equipment, but, it's nice to know you can contact a service provider with no emergency call charges (which can be very expensive). I have been using Precision Garages Door service for years, and they have yet to let me down with workmanship, warranties and most of all fair pricing. So many good qualities, and a company I will strongly recommend to anyone needing prompt and quality service the same day you contact them.

I attempted to close my garage door last night and it kept re-opening when it got near the bottom. I checked to see if something was blocking the door and found nothing was. I pulled the emergency cord and let the door down manually. I was unable to get the door to operate and called to get the door fixed so I could make my appointment. Precision reacted within 30 minutes and found that an adjustment to the motor was the problem and Brian not only corrected the problem but inspected and lubricated the entire door hinges and rollers. Outstanding service covered by the warranty. Thanks Precision!????

My wife and I were very very pleased with the service we received from Precision. After calling we had a tech (James) come in on Memorial Day (a holiday!) to see what our exact needs were with a smile on his face. Afterwards my wife and I decided it would be best for us to replace the whole garage door and we had two installers come the very next day to install it also with smiles on their faces. That to us means alot, friendly service. We are very pleased with the results, the guys were very nice and knowledgeable and did a great job. We would recommend you in Clearwater highly! You all are great! Rebecca came out and gave me my quote. Amazed about the pricing and the savings I received. Rebecca at first told me that with the door I was requesting that there would be a 3-4 week turn around time from ordering, so with that in mind when i called to schedule I was surprised to find out the door was in stock and they could get me scheduled right away. Now day of appointment. Gerald was my technician. He called me 20 mins prior and was right on time. I was the first one that morning and with in 3 hours he had removed old door, installed new door and new opener. Quick and efficient. Both had great attitudes. Very happy I chose Precision.

The service was excellent all around! Rebecca did a fantastic job going over all of the options with us when she came to provide the quote. As for the install, both Luke and Jose were efficient, professional, and showed attention to detail in their work. They replaced all the lumber that was either worn out or incorrectly installed when the last door was put in many years ago. They also took the time at the end to explain all of the work they did and how to maintain the door and opener going forward. Very satisfied with the end result! Highly recommend Precision Overhead Garage Door Service!

The techs were very good & courteous and obviously knew what they were doing---but--the girl on the phone that I made the appointment with didn't come close to giving me an accurate quote--left out the surcharge, the $49.95, the springs estimate was wrong and didn't include bearing cost---so this cost was over twice what I expected. Other than that---ok

I am 88 years old. My garage door would not open this morning. I called Precision because that is the only firm we have used for the past several years with excellent service. Mike Boyle came and diagnosed the problem quickly. Believe me he is a "keeper". All of your techs have been great, More than satisfied.

The salesman, Chris Burdge, explained all the options and recommended the lowest priced package which would meet all our needs. He explained the optional features and warranty options accurately. Based upon that we made a choice with which we felt very comfortable. He then arranged for next day installation, The installer, Franklin, did a fabulous job, including cleanup and explanation of how to use the remote, etc. The door looks great and is so much quieter than our old door. We picked Precision because of a great experience with a past repair.

Service was excellent! And was done in a timely fashion. However, I was disappointed with the price. When I called they told me there was a $49 charge to come out and it would be applied if you had the work done. When I got the bill it reflected a $20 surcharge for fuel. That was never discussed in our conversation or estimate. Those practices short change the quality and respectability of the company . Your mechanic was very proficient and polite. He explained our options and proceeded to do the work required in record time. He replaced the shaft, pulleys, cables and all new rollers. He did all this work in what we consider to be record time. Your advertising is correct! He arrived promptly,was very quick to offer our repair options.
