We've had Precision do great work on our garage door a few times over the years and today's experience with Chad was another home run! Our main issue was a broken torsion spring and Chad went over all of the components to check for any other signs of excessive wear. Chad clearly explained what and why any parts needed to be replaced and gave me a clear exact price with no surprises and no pressure. Precision has always done great work for us and Chad is a great example of why they are the only company we call when we need garage door repairs. Thank you again for a great experience!

The installation went fine as he was very professional and went through all of the aspects of the Genie operation as needed. What did concern me however is the warranty was communicated by the installer as 3 years and when I questioned that, there was no additional clarity. This shocked me and I almost canceled as I knew the Genie warranty was 10 years. Listed on the invoice as "3 years on parts and labor on parts we replaced". It's understandable for Precision to cap out the warranty for all parts with labor at 3 years but the manufacturer limited warranty is 10 years on the motor. It would seem to me that your customer should be made aware of this and if the motor dies in years 4-10 years they can contact Genie for a new motor if it can't be troubleshooted. Genie is a great product line and they stand by their warranty, as I have gotten a replacement motor in the past when it used to be 15 years.
