Garage door motor went into reverse mode so I phoned Precision which sent Jackson within two hours of the call and he installed better replacement one,keypad and remotes for reasonable price. Other firms are on tv but Precision has the quality reputation for installers who are personable and professional like Jackson so even on weekends,you can expect good service when you need it.

Precision Garage Doors was extremely quick and responsive. They came out immediately and rectified the issue. The technician, Braxton, was very kind and respectful. The only issue was the repair cost which was extremely high. From a relative who recently had the same problem repaired, it was approximately double. We needed an immediate repair, concerned we had a safety issue, so overall we were very happy otherwise.

The installation went fine as he was very professional and went through all of the aspects of the Genie operation as needed. What did concern me however is the warranty was communicated by the installer as 3 years and when I questioned that, there was no additional clarity. This shocked me and I almost canceled as I knew the Genie warranty was 10 years. Listed on the invoice as "3 years on parts and labor on parts we replaced". It's understandable for Precision to cap out the warranty for all parts with labor at 3 years but the manufacturer limited warranty is 10 years on the motor. It would seem to me that your customer should be made aware of this and if the motor dies in years 4-10 years they can contact Genie for a new motor if it can't be troubleshooted. Genie is a great product line and they stand by their warranty, as I have gotten a replacement motor in the past when it used to be 15 years. I am only suggesting you explain the full scope of the warranty process for clarity and transparency's sake. All the best. Regards, Dolores Ianni

Tech was on time, pleasant, fixed problem I had as well as found another and fixed what would have been a problem later. Only thing I noticed, after he left, was the left door that he replaced the chain gear on does not completely close all the way. It is up about a half inch unless I go over and push it down with my foot. I have problems with mice entering garage as I store trash cans there and they will easily find their way in if I don’t remember to push it all the way with my foot. It would be nice if someone would come back and adjust it out but Indo not want to incur another visit charge.

Repair was done quickly and well. My problem was timing of technician late arrival. Understand that it’s not always known how long previous client’s issue will take. But tech apologized and regulated the bill due to lateness of his arrival.

We discovered a broken spring around 2:30 in the afternoon - could not open the garage door! Jeremy was at our house by about 4:15. He quickly assessed the situation and gave us 3 options for repair work. We decided to go with the highest option because we hadn't had work done for quite a while. Jeremy efficiently did the work and everything was working well by 5:30. The next day we found our receipt from almost 7 years earlier and discovered that some of the items replaced were still under a 7 year warranty. We called the office - they immediately looked into it - called us back, apologized for the oversite and issued a refund for everything that was under warranty. We were very satisfied with the work and the service. Thank you.

Cost on line for pricing of garage door motors were less than half of what you charged.
