Great overall experience with Precision Overhead door today. John and Keng showed up exactly when they said they would. I had been given a quote for a broken spring from their home office earlier in the day. Moreover, I have an older Genie "Excellerator" opener and the parts were not available. The technician suggested a "work-around" and repaired the doors in less than an hour. Doors spring (16 years old) had broken and door not able to be opened. (too heavy) Precision tech John Tsangarinos and helper Jesse analysed all my problems and gave me two separate quotes to repair the door. One with a one year warranty and one with a five year warranty. I had just spent over $1,200 two years ago with another company, with now warranty, and door had crashed again. I asked for the 5 year warranty fix. Precision team installed the best springs, new rollers and bears, plus they beefed up the LiftMaster attachment to the door, where cracks were showing up in the door. I was very happy with the friendly service and the door is now running smoothly.

Do not use Precision. They do not provide a written estimate, but write down the parts you need (springs, rollers, ball bearings, etc) and verbally tell you the cost of each. You have to add the total up in your head. And they do not mention the hidden charges: 7% shop supplies (in the case, $66.50) and the Fleet Transportation charge ($20). Rip-off artists.

Installed a new motor and belt, rail, torsion cable and electronics, repaired movable and other parts of the door as needed, and patiently answered all our questions. Provided three repair alternatives with varying warranties for our selection.

Michele said that she would have someone call me. In short order Chelsea called and set up a service request for today! Robert called me before the appointed time to confirm that he was on his way. In today's world of business Precision did two things which impressed me very much. First and foremost they acknowledged my phone call requesting assistance -. On this email they provided me with a complete list of their mechanics and their photographs. Therefore, I could match the mechanic with the photo and being able to know it was a bonfire company employee. Second and very important was they call 30 minutes prior to arriving at our home and went immediately to work. They asked my problem, analyzed it and then repaired it. We have been with this company for years. I travel, I know that should my wife need assistance she will have no problems and will be secure when the repair arrives. The workmanship is professional, satisfactory and the service is priced correctly. I can only say thank you for a job well done.
