My garage door failed me late Friday afternoon. Even though it was after 5 PM, I called Precision and was surprised that someone answered the phone. They actually set me up with an appointment for the next day on Saturday. Arnold came out before noon and did a great job!!! Very rare to get such fast and efficient service. I have had several interactions with Precision, each with a good outcome. The overhead door opener they installed two years ago works like a charm. I've had a few problems with my keypad opener, but they've been very accommodating about taking care of it.The service people are efficient and pleasant, and I've never had to wait more than a few hours or a day for service. I made the appointment late on Saturday for a next morning appointment. The technician arrived during the first half of the time range. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He replaced my torsion springs and lubed the bearings.

The installation went fine as he was very professional and went through all of the aspects of the Genie operation as needed. What did concern me however is the warranty was communicated by the installer as 3 years and when I questioned that, there was no additional clarity. This shocked me and I almost canceled as I knew the Genie warranty was 10 years. Listed on the invoice as "3 years on parts and labor on parts we replaced". It's understandable for Precision to cap out the warranty for all parts with labor at 3 years but the manufacturer limited warranty is 10 years on the motor. It would seem to me that your customer should be made aware of this and if the motor dies in years 4-10 years they can contact Genie for a new motor if it can't be troubleshooted. Genie is a great product line and they stand by their warranty, as I have gotten a replacement motor in the past when it used to be 15 years. I am only suggesting you explain the full scope of the warranty process for clarity and transparency's sake. All the best. Regards, Dolores Ianni

My car was trapped in the garage and I needed emergency service due to the approaching hurricane. Precision was unable to make it before the storm, so I was forced to use another company that took advantage of me and overcharged me for two springs. I now believe that the company that performed the emergency repair is a fake, unlicensed company. I wrote a letter to Precision explaining the situation after the storm and requested that they remove the springs that the other company had installed. John Duff provided superior customer service! He carefully listened as I explained the situation and answered all of my questions and concerns about the repair completed by the "fake", unethical company. He removed the springs and replaced with Precision springs and made sure that my garage door and all parts were operating correctly and properly lubricated. He was compassionate, informative, knowledgeable, professional and thorough. He apologized that Precision was unable to make the emergency service call and even apologized for the bad experience that I had with the other company. John is a valuable asset to your company, so I can see why you have him training his colleague. I am also very pleased that Precision will continue to honor my 7 year warranty after having a repair by another company. Believe me... going forward I will only use Precision!

Replacement of tired Liftmaster garage door opener with a new Genie opener. Service, including programming of all devices and autos was performed on a Monday holiday weekend, on time and professionally completed in less than two hours. Our choice to use Precision Garage Door service was predicated on prior service calls requiring spring replacement and later complete garage door replacement with appropriate hurricane rated and insulated door.
