There are few things that upset one's day than to have a multi-hundred pound door opener spring break just when you need the door to open! One call to Precision and the lady gladly set me up with a late day appointment for after I returned home. Jordan, technician, is top shelf! Personable, professional and very knowledgeable. After explaining what needed to be done and fully explaining the prices, he gave me 3 choices removing any undue sales pressure. Once I agreed, he got to it and was done in what seemed like less than a half hour. What a relief! Thank-you Precision.

I purchased a new garage door and opener from Precision in September 2018 (5 months previously). I noticed the weather stripping along the top section of molding had separated from the molding. After failed attempts to caulk and glue the weather stripping back to the molding, I decided to ask Precision to make the repair. Franklin Mosely came out the next day (right on time) and replaced the molding with a new one. It took only 20 minutes and there was no charge. A very happy customer!

Matt came to give the door and opener a tune up. It wasn't operating properly, such as slamming too hard when it closed, and not opening properly either. Having had Precision replace the springs about 2 years ago, I needed to get things working properly, so as not to damage any other components. Matt ran it a few times and adjusted the limits on the opener, adjusted the springs and lubed everything, while explaining the operations to me. Once he was finished with that, I asked him to show me what he had as a replacement for the rubber seal on the bottom panel. So Matt replaced that as well. Looks and runs great. Thanks Matt.

As I got back home from an overnight shift, my garage door would not open. I looked and observed the spring was broken. Immediately I saw an all day ordeal that will prevent me from sleeping. But NO!!!! I called Precision and they had a technician at my house within an hour and half. He took care of the issue and the spring was fixed... I was in bed at around 0945. I call want to call that service but I can't. It was amazing just like family.... I made a friend that day. Thank you Matthew you are awesome.

I won't be calling this company back for anything. Over priced and the technician that came to my house was a creep. All I wanted was a new remote for my garage door opener because the one I had was very outdated (1999). The technician was more concerned with my dog than what he was there for. He looks at my unit, didn't test it or anything and proceeded to write down on a tablet 5 different options as far as quotes for me all over $500 telling me the reason my remote didn't work is because the springs and rollers on my garage are worn down causing my remote to short. I was charged $129.95 just to get a new remote and it programmed. He was so persistent in trying to get me to get a new unit and he was so full of shit. i did end up buying the remote and it is working fine, but I will never call this company back.

Our garage door opener stopped receiving input from our remotes. Arnold diagnosed the issue with it and explained our options. We chose to get a new unit and Arnold had the work completed very quickly. This all happened on the same day we called! Arnold was very nice and professional and we will definitely recommend him and Precision to everyone.

Hands down Precision Overhead Garage Door if the best garage door company my husband and I have ever worked with. We were very pleased with how professional Justin C. was with his product knowledge. Justin was able to take care of our issue in a short amount of time and really took into consideration our end goal with our current garage door. We have future plans to replace the door completely. Justin understood that and offered a solution that would get us until we are ready to splurge on a new door. When that time comes...I know we will call Precision Overhead Garage Door.

Shane replaced the broken spring on my garage door today. He was extremely knowledgeable, prompt and very polite. The spring broke last night at 7:30 pm and Precision was able to schedule me between 12-2 today. Shane had the door fixed and operational in less than an hour! I have used Precision for the past 8 years and have always received great service. I will continue to be a loyal Precision customer!!!!

I feel insanely ripped off! I was quoted $700 dollars to replace springs and bearings, and reprogramming. I was told that the springs were old and needed replacing. Being that it was a Saturday and I needed my garage door operational I moved forward with the work, even if it was overpriced. I had insulation in the garage door which literally weighed 20 lbs but the tech informed me that it would help to remove it. He then charged me an additional $189 dollars to remove it ( which probably took all of 5 minutes) and discounted my springs $189 so the cost stayed the same as quoted. Well..if he could’ve discounted my overcharged springs to begin with $189 I don’t see how removing a little insulation should cost me $189. Just feel overcharged from the start and definitely would never recommend Precision to anyone nor would I use them again. I was recommended Precision by our neighborhood Hoa Facebook page and will definitely be posting my experience there as well. Would suggest you get a quote from another company before continuing with service from Precision.
