Arnold, our technician is a consummate professional. He called when he was 20 minutes away to make sure we knew he was coming (it was early). When he arrived he examined the door and all its components (springs, wheels, door hinges, etc.). He then told me what needed to be replaced and then wrote up each replacement task with 2 costs based on which new component I would purchase. We had a discussion of each alternative at he end of which I picked which springs I wanted, which new motor I wanted and which belt system I wanted. When I was done, Arnold tallied up the costs. I agreed and he began to work. He gave me a 2 hour estimate and finished up in about 1 and 1/2 hours. He then went over everything he had done and pointed out that the wheels on the door were good for another 2-3 years but, should I hear a clacking sound when the door is going up or down, I should call Precision and get them replaced. Arnold also showed me where he replace some missing screw hinges and how he attached the trolley to the door so that it was above a crack in the metal piece that was attached to the door.He also noted that the rubber and the bottom of the door was worn but, since I had no evidence of water damage, I could hold off on replacing that item for awhile. Arnold then programed the new key code box, the wall opener the openers built into my two cars and the new and the old portable remote controls. I was presented with the bill which exactly matched the estimate. I selected Precision because of some recommendations from neighbors. In the future I will be the neighbor recommending Precision to others.

The technician ( Isaiah ) arrived and checked over the garage door system at our request. The existing system was about 21 years old and appeared to have lacked maintenance. The technician showed us all the things that he felt were worn and he recommended that they should be replaced. We chose to go ahead and follow his recommendations. We had a new motor, drive belt, main springs, hinges and rollers installed and lubricated as required. The work was completed in a few hours. There was no high pressure sales involved by the technician. We are very happy with the work done and how smooth the door operates.

There are few things that upset one's day than to have a multi-hundred pound door opener spring break just when you need the door to open! I purchased a new garage door and opener from Precision in September 2018 (5 months previously). I noticed the weather stripping along the top section of molding had separated from the molding. After failed attempts to caulk and glue the weather stripping back to the molding, I decided to ask Precision to make the repair. Franklin Mosely came out the next day (right on time) and replaced the molding with a new one. It took only 20 minutes and there was no charge. A very happy customer!

I won't be calling this company back for anything. Over priced and the technician that came to my house was a creep. All I wanted was a new remote for my garage door opener because the one I had was very outdated (1999). The technician was more concerned with my dog than what he was there for. He looks at my unit, didn't test it or anything and proceeded to write down on a tablet 5 different options as far as quotes for me all over $500 telling me the reason my remote didn't work is because the springs and rollers on my garage are worn down causing my remote to short. I was charged $129.95 just to get a new remote and it programmed. He was so persistent in trying to get me to get a new unit and he was so full of shit. i did end up buying the remote and it is working fine, but I will never call this company back.

Percision Garage Doors always shows up on time (sometimes early). Their reps are always polite, respectful, and very knowledgable. They evaluate what is needed with my garage door each time and then are honest about what needs to be addressed immediately and what can wait. According to Angie's list the average price of a new garage door opener with installation is $300-500. Mine was $699. Unfortunately, my internet was down or I would have been able to figure out I could have replaced the same brand I had for half of the price. The opener I ended up with is Precision's own brand of which I can find no reviews at all. Despite costing much more it does not have the dual lights or motion sensor my old one had.

It's not everyday something goes wrong with your garage door or garage door equipment, but, it's nice to know you can contact a service provider with no emergency call charges (which can be very expensive). I have been using Precision Garages Door service for years, and they have yet to let me down with workmanship, warranties and most of all fair pricing. So many good qualities, and a company I will strongly recommend to anyone needing prompt and quality service the same day you contact them.
