After 23 years I needed to replace my garage door opener. I reached out to Precious Garage Door which I have used in the past for repairs and once again the service was great. Chad, who was the technician, called to let me know he was on his way. He arrived on time, was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He installed a new unit in a timely manner, walked through all the updated features for this unit and made sure I knew how to operate it. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door! You will not be disappointed!!!

My garage door spring broke over the weekend. On Sunday, I was able to book an appointment online for Monday morning with the Clearwater team. Chad, the service technician, called to let me know he was on his way. Once he arrived he was very courteous, thorough and provided answers to all my questions. He also provided full estimates and options before moving ahead. The process was very easy and well-structured. I would recommend Precision to other friends and family.

The installation went fine as he was very professional and went through all of the aspects of the Genie operation as needed. What did concern me however is the warranty was communicated by the installer as 3 years and when I questioned that, there was no additional clarity. This shocked me and I almost canceled as I knew the Genie warranty was 10 years. Listed on the invoice as "3 years on parts and labor on parts we replaced". It's understandable for Precision to cap out the warranty for all parts with labor at 3 years but the manufacturer limited warranty is 10 years on the motor. It would seem to me that your customer should be made aware of this and if the motor dies in years 4-10 years they can contact Genie for a new motor if it can't be troubleshooted. Genie is a great product line and they stand by their warranty, as I have gotten a replacement motor in the past when it used to be 15 years. I am only suggesting you explain the full scope of the warranty process for clarity and transparency's sake. All the best. Regards, Dolores Ianni
