I purchased a new Genie garage door opener with key pad from Precision and they installed the unit about a year ago. Everything was working beautifully until the outside key pad stopped working today. I assumed it needed new batteries. When I attempted to remove the cover to the key pad, it appeared stuck and I didn't want to force it and risk breaking the plastic cover. So, I called Precision Garage Door's phone number. It is delightful to hear a real voice on the other end of the line vs an automated message. I explained the problem I was having and the agent got somebody our here right away within 30 minutes of my phonecall! A nice young man greeted me and quickly opened the key pad cover and showed me how to correctly install two new AAA batteries, which I had on hand. I am so grateful for their quick response even for the simplest of tasks!

I've used Precision in the recent past for a rental property and then right before Hurricane Milton hit as my own garage decided to act up. Today when I went to leave my house my garage door made a loud sound and wouldn't open. I called Precision and in my opinion I got the two best technicians Sam and Joshua. They explained in detail what needed to be done. They were polite, knowledgeable as well as personable .I was concerned because both of our cars were in the garage - they were fine. Sam and Joshua worked together as a great team. As much as I didn't want to pay for a garage problem at Christmas Sam and Joshua made the situation more bearable by their sincerity. The spring on our garage door broke in half last night, rendering it useless. I made a call to the company from whom I purchased our doors, ultimately learning that our 4yr old door was out of warranty, by a year. I was to expect a call from the office in the morning as after-hours repairs would have been charged at 2.5time the normal rate and this was not a crisis. I called Precision Overhead Garage Door company, as well, and left a message.The Precision representative returned my call at 7:30AM. After she explained that no competitor could beat their price or level of customer service an appointment was made for today at noon. At the appointed time Josh & Seth arrived. They replaced the broken spring, then replaced the rollers & properly balanced the door. Other than the spring, the rest was a welcome surprise! They thoroughly tested the door's operation. It's now smooth & quiet. A couple years ago I had asked the installation company's technician if the door could be made to operate with less noise. He told me no! Without being asked Josh & Seth did just that in about 10 minutes! I'm happy to recommend Precision Overhead Door and, particularly Michele F., Josh & Seth to anyone. Thank YOU, Jim Rapp, for empowering your team members to do great work.

My technician was Joshua page and I could tell his heart was in the job he wasn’t just there “just” to fix a door he was there cause he loves what he does and his joy in his work. My g. door would not close even though the safety beam was not obstructed. I watched several Precision YouTube vids and learned what to check. The problem was a faulty safety beam receiver. I tried all the hints on the videos, but still no luck. I gave up on the DIY and called. A technician named Joshua Page came to the house and after a complete inspection he agreed with my diagnosis and also found a broken door panel hinge. Without hesitation Joshua got to work and had my door running smoothly once again. I am very satisfied with the service I received and appreciated the professionalism demonstrated by Joshua.
